Year 11 student volunteers from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ and Pymble Ladies College have trained throughout the year, learning the essential skills required for caring for a child with a disability such as dressing, eating and brushing teeth. These essential skills were put into practice on the first week of holidays as PLC hosted a four-day Camp in partnership with the Sony Foundation.
The Sony Camp is a truly special respite programme where our volunteers care for children with special needs, giving their families a well-deserved break.
The week was filled with laughter, fun activities, and the creation of lasting friendships and memories for both campers and volunteers.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this Camp such a success, particularly those Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ community members who so generously donated to the funding of hampers for the enjoyment of camper's families. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ had the responsibility and privilege of putting together these thoughtful hampers, which are always warmly received and deeply appreciated.
